There's something to be said about the non-barricaded shows, when concert-goers are able to press up right against the stage and be as close to the band as they possibly can be. As soon as the doors opened people started gathering around the stage until the bottom floor was completely taken over. A few people hugged closely to the bar and others climbed up into the mezzanine to get a few of everything that the show would entail. The room swayed along with the sweet, smooth songs of Alvvays. By the third song, projections took over the band as they were playing creating the ultimate aesthetic atmosphere.
