It had been a few years since Canadian artist, LIGHTS, came through Calgary, Alberta. Only a few days prior her newest record, Skin & Earth won Pop Album of the year at the Junos. With this accomplishment under her belt, she was ready to continue on the rest of the tour. DCF and Dear Rouge joined the rest of the tour across Canada, warming up the crowd with both their quirky and energetic tunes. By the time that Lights was able to come out on stage the crowd was tightly pressed against the main barricade as well as that of the beer gardens. People of all ages started dancing around, singing the words, or both. She played new tracks off of Skin & Earth while mixing in the tracks from their first release, The Listening, that hooked in everyone to keep coming back to her shows. As the night came to a close, Lights finished off with an encore of "We Were Here" and "Almost Had Me," the crowd cooing as the lights went dim.
