A nearly sold out crowd packed House of Blues Chicago for Grammy-nominated rock band, Nothing More. On the second leg for their newest album, The Stories We Tell Ourselves, openers The Contorionist and Big Story tagged along to set the scene for the San Antonian. With a shirt that quickly disappeared after a few songs, frontman Jonny Hawkins's commanding presence can't be contained. For a quick interlude, three fourths of the band gathered around a hanging guitar and plays different parts of it.Nothing More is a band best enjoyed live because of their infectious energy and multiple percussion instruments around the stage. This headlining tour was just a rehearsal. It'll be no time before their packing stadiums.
